Kristen Ford is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for her dynamic live looping shows, energetic band leader and crowd engagement. Her travels have taken this Western Mass girl far and wide, living in the entertainment hubs of Chicago, Boston, Nashville, and LA, and often on the road.
Touring over 2,000 shows across 50 states and 10 countries, including Fenway Park, Boston and The Fillmore, San Francisco. In 2023, she signed with Righteous Babe Records, and her most recent album, "Pinto," was produced by GRAMMY winners John Driskell Hopkins (Zac Brown Band) and Ani DiFranco. Ford now calls Sacramento, California, home; its rivers remind her of Western Massachusetts, except with more Sea Lions making all kinds of joyful noise.
Her personal and political anthems have been described as "arena-ready and intimate" by Rainbow Rodeo, she has been featured on syndicated radio, Woodsongs, Acoustic Cafe, her album peaked at #51 on the college charts, and she was seen on daytime NBC. Steady, consistent progress and a relentless work ethic have been the engine driving Ford, without a flash in the pan just solid work on songwriting, performance and recording. She is endorsed by Gallagher Guitars, G7th Capos, Pig Hog Cables and K&K Pickups.
Ford's upcoming album Sad Sac is her 7th studio recording, slated for a January 2027 release. This time there's no platinum records or GRAMMY awards in their studio. This time the music is made at home, where she does her best to channel Prince and Petty, stacking harmonies, a wall of guitars and storytelling earned on a life in the limelight, or at least making lime-aid.
